Job Description:

We are looking to recruit a Sales / Customer Service Assistant to work in a showroom based in Sandhurst. You would also be required to travel to customers properties.

Main duties will include:

  • Measure for and sell internal and external window dressings including blinds, awnings, curtains and other shading.
  • Visisting customers within the local area (sometimes further afield)
  • Assiting on sales within the showroom
  • Listening to their requirements and advise on the various products
  • Booking appointments for customers with an electronic diary
  • Taking orders with the customer
  • Placing orders with the supplier
  • General admin duties
Skills required:
  • Previous face to face customer service experience
  • Experience with measuring and detailed drawings
  • Understanding of general DIY
  • Good communication skills
  • An understanding of the blind industry would be an advantage but not a necessity as training will be given on various products
  • A full driving license is required (van will be provided)

Hours will be 4 days a week 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-3pm. This is a permanent role.
